Purpose and Responsibilities

  • Administer the project Construction and Commissioning Management System (CCMS) which assigns and controls equipment inspection and testing checksheets and punch items (defects and incomplete work)
  • Liaise with area and discipline leads to develop and review discipline and equipment specific inspection and testing checksheets and matrices for checksheet assignment
  • Obtain and retain vendor commissioning reports
  • Print equipment checksheets (to be completed in the field by technical commissioning personnel) then scan and upload completed checksheets to the CCMS
  • Coordinate groups of technical personnel in the field for defect inspections (punchlisting) and record defect data in detail and take photos of defects and incomplete work
  • Transpose defect records (punchlists) from hand written notes to excel templates for uploading into the CCMS
  • Save and accurately rename photos of defects and incomplete work to a shared location
  • Act as a liaison between different project teams and site departments for turnover priorities, incomplete items and turnover process
  • Prepare or assist in the preparation of reports and presentations for project and commissioning management
  • Perform other duties that may be assigned from time to time by the commissioning manager and/or leads

 

Qualifications and Experience

  • Engineering or technical data background highly regarded
  • Experience with database management highly regarded
  • Experience with Power BI reporting desirable
  • Ability to read drawings such as PIDs and SLDs
  • Experience working in a project construction and/or commissioning environment desirable
  • Professional, but firm attitude and style of communication i.e. ability to challenge people if you don’t think something is correct rather than just doing it
  • Strong Microsoft office suite skills, particularly excel and word
