VACANCY : MIS Lead

LEVEL : Assistant Manager

LOCATION : Lusaka, HQ

JOB PURPOSE

To consistently maintain the entire Sales and Distribution Management Information and Data ensuring accurate and timely dissemination of required reports to defined recipients and innovation of new reports where required.

Provide insightful analytical reports highlighting trends and any other observations key to decision making.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES ARE:

  • • Generation of accurate Sales & Distribution business analytics enabling timely decision making.
  • • Trackingand ensuringall business continuity plans are in place.
  • • EnsuringMIS team resolves MIS related issues faced by sales staff, distributors and franchise partners in a timely manner.
  • • Ensuringtargets are set correctly and on time for all zones and communicated to all stakeholders by the 1st of every month.
  • • Ensuringtrade related activities which are expected to lead to achievement of targets are properly tracked.
  • • EnsuringMIS team liaise with zonal staff and update information for timely and correct reports.
  • • Monitoringexecution progress against plans for any zonal initiative.
  • • Ensuringdaily/weekly/monthly reports are circulated to zones and senior management.
  • • Ensuringcorrect and timely payments of all channel partners are done according to set SLA.
  • • Ensuringall required analysis and month-end reporting by EC and group is provided in a timely manner.
  • • Responsible for the Opex management and maintainingclose track of S&D costs.
  • • Close monitoring of all processes to maintain costs through business excellence.
  • • Manage, Train, coach and develop MIS team.
  • • Opex control and governance of processesin line with business requirements.

REQUIREMENTS

Educational Qualifications & Functional / Technical Skills:

  • • Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, or equivalent training in business or sales management.
  • •At least 3 proven successful years of experience in sales with a combination of direct and indirect sales.
  • •Exposure to the Telecommunications Industry or FMCG environment.
