Client: Road Development Agency
Country: Zambia
Resident Engineer (Supervision & DLP – 42 Man-Months)
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Highway or Civil Engineering with a minimum of Fifteen (10) years’ experience in road design and construction. (Any higher qualifications in a relevant field will be an added advantage)
Experience:
· As a Resident Engineer or equivalent capacity in at least three (3) road construction projects of similar magnitude and complexity in the past ten years.
· Registered member of a recognized professional body and registered to practice by an appropriate body such as the Engineering Institution of Zambia (E.I.Z), the Engineering Registration Board (Eng.R.B) or similar professional bodies.
· At least Five (05) years’ experience in carrying out supervision of road construction and maintenance projects involving the use Asphalt in the Southern African Region.
· Familiar with FIDIC and/or other internationally recognized forms of Contract procedures and administration.
· At least 5 years’ experience in road construction works, preferably in Southern Africa.
· Shall have a good command of the English Language.
