AfroCharts is looking for several enthusiastic Brand Ambassadors to be the face of our company and promote our products/services in various countries.
Brand Ambassador Responsibilities
Post about our products and services online (e.g. social media and forums)
Monitor online comments and respond or forward to the Marketing department
Distribute educational materials about AfroCharts
Attend local community events or professional events (e.g. career fairs) as a spokesperson for our company
Host promotional events for college students or recent graduates to learn about AfroCharts
Leverage personal or professional networks and university connections to raise awareness about AfroCharts
Build trusting relationships with potential customers (Artists, listeners and businesses)
Use word-of-mouth marketing techniques, like referring our company to friends or artists
Assist with marketing events
Educate customers about key brand details
Submit recap form and pictures for each promotional event
Requirements and Skills
Current university student or recent graduate
Experience in marketing, community outreach, or sourcing business partnerships
Strong social media presence on multiple platforms
Experience creating online content
Ability and willingness to network and recruit new listeners, artists, or businesses
Experience in sales is a plus
NOTE: If you are not a current college student or recent graduate, you may still apply but please describe the communities or entities you would like to focus on for promotional events and brand awareness.
Location: Hybrid (participate in virtual team meetings and attend in-person promotional events.
Commitment: 3-5 hours per week
Duration: September 12, 2022 to December 30, 2022 (with potential to review)
Training: Must be available to attend a virtual one-hour orientation call via Zoom before starting.
