Assistant Manager – Compliance 

Responsibilities:

·        Monitor Emerging Risks and ISQM 1 Compliance

·        Assist in implementing Risk Mitigation and ISQM 1 and ISQM 2.

·        Supervision of compliance personnel.

·        Appraising compliance staff.

·        Reporting to the Head of Audit & Assurance Quality Management (HAAQM), and Head of Monitoring and Remediation (HMR).

·        Attending to queries raised by the Global office on Ethics and Independence and Compliance matters.

·        Leading the BDO Zambia Accreditation campaign.

·        Assist in the Execution of the Annual Compliance Programme.

·        Compliance Reporting.

·        Participation in Risk Management Meetings.

·        Support in Maintaining AML Procedures.

·        Ensure ongoing Regulatory Compliance and advise on emerging compliance issues.

·        Conducting Quality Reviews and support ethical standards compliance.

·        Provide Guidance on Ethics and Independence.

·        Conduct Ethics and Compliance training.

·        Maintain Knowledge of Regulatory Changes and promote a Culture of Compliance.

·        Support Compliance Reporting.

·        Maintain Documentation and assist in record-Keeping for Audits.

Qualifications and Experience:

Must be a holder of the following qualifications, CA Zambia, ACCA or equivalent

A relevant master’s degree qualification will be an added advantage

Must have at least +6 years of working experience in a similar

A good understanding of ISQM 1 and 2 is required, audit firm experience will be an added advantage
