Arise Africa is seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable and Christ Loving Complex Manager to oversee operations of our guest accommodations and sometime event spaces. Our Complex comprises of two cottages and 11 self-contained rooms with a communal seating area in a container set up (The position is ideal for someone who enjoys hospitality, takes pride in maintaining a welcoming environment, and can manage details with care and minimal supervision).
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations of the Complex.
Coordinate reservations, guest check-ins, and check-outs.
Ensure the property is clean, safe, and well-maintained always.
Manage cleaning schedules, maintenance requests, and supply inventories.
Ensure high standards of customer service at all times.
Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally and promptly.
Maintain booking and financial records in coordination with the Accounts office.
Market the complex via applicable marketing platforms.
Requirements:
Must Hold a Hotel Management and hospitality qualification.
Must have at least 3 years’ experience managing a similar property/business.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Excellent organization and time management.
Basic computer skills (email, calendars, record-keeping).
Ability to work independently and respond promptly to guest inquiries.
Must be innovative and a critical thinker.
Hours & Compensation:
Full time 8 hours a day position with some need to work flexible times during peak season, based on guest and event activity.
Compensation commensurate with experience.
