Key Duties & Responsibilities | Internal controls and compliance - Review Management Reconciliation File where needed.
- Draft Policies and Procedures where applicable.
- Monitor ERP (MSD) Compliance.
- Monitor Internal Audit Findings close outs. (Eg function support – HR)
- Finance policies and procedures are up to date and accessible on shared drive.
- Country ERP (MSD) Compliance report submitted to Group Financial Accountant monthly.
- All audit findings raised by Deloitte are closed by the agreed upon deadlines.
- Ad hoc changes are made accurately as per requirements.
Reporting and Analysis: Complete and oversee the following: - Internal financial reporting.
- Budget Pack
- Monthly Management Pack.
- Support the development of the Board pack and analyses.
- Provide accurate, timely and insightful financial reporting at divisional and operational levels in a standardised format.
- Review and improve score cards and related processes.
- Provide/Conduct analysis and financial advice when required.
- Lead and manage the financial planning and reporting function.
- Balance sheet budgeting for the tactical plan (1year – 12month budget, three annual High level plan).
- Compilation of Income Statement budgets for assigned cost centers.
- Coordinate and facilitate appropriate corrective actions within country to get back on track.
- Process and consolidation of all key reporting cycles: month end, budgeting and forecasting.
- Engage in regular internal and external benchmarking.
- Track synergy targets and value capture from integration.
- Provide operational, reporting and analytical information to CCBA
- Alignment with the CCBA finance teams on overall FP&A objectives.
- Deliver a customer-centric, business partnering finance function able to challenge constructively and work with the functions to deliver the initiatives, KPIs and financial objectives.
Financial Planning – Plan and distribute the following with timelines: - Financial tasks.
- Monthly reporting. ERP (MSD)/HFM
- RE’s.
- Budget.
- Build strong, collaborative and effective working relationships with the CCBA HO functions to influence the decision making process and ensure implementation to deliver the results.
- Custodian of Tableau, EDW and HFM monthly tasks (month end).
Support finance staff within country to develop relevant long term capability through coaching and training. |
Skills, Experience & Education | Education: - Qualification: Minimum requirement: Bachelor’s degree, CPA K/ACCA A, CIMA.
- Added advantage: Certified Accreditation
Experience: - 5-7 years Financial experience with at least 5 years in management roles.
- Added advantage: FMCG. MSD experience
