Our client in Lusaka is looking for a Credit Controller to join their team for a job vacancy within the insurance industry.

CREDIT CONTROLLER
Location: Lusaka
Report directly to: The Finance Manager
Duties and responsibilities among others:
- Collection of premiums from both, brokers and direct clients.
- Matching and reconciling of receipts.
- Production of monthly statements for brokers and direct clients.
- Receipting of premiums from brokers and direct clients.
- Monitoring of debtors/aged analysis.
- Processing of broker/agent commissions where necessary.
- Performs any other duties related to the job as may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications, Experience and Competencies
- 5 “Grade 12” passes including English Language and Mathematics.
- Professional qualification in accounting or a degree in accountancy.
- At least 3 years relevant experience in an insurance industry is added advantage.
- Self-starter.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Very knowledgeable with computers particularly excel.
- Driver’s licence is an added advantage.
