Job Purpose

Reporting to the Head of Sales, the position will be responsible for managing and growing key client accounts, ensuring alignment with business objectives, while driving revenue growth, customer satisfaction, and market expansion. The role involves developing and maintaining strong client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions.

The Job

The incumbent will be responsible for, among others, the following:

· Developing and executing account management strategies aligned with business goals.

· Managing key client relationships to ensure customer retention and satisfaction.

· Identifying opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and new business development.

· Negotiating contracts and ensuring successful execution of sales agreements.

· Collaborating with internal teams to deliver customized solutions that meet client needs.

· Analyzing market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.

· Driving revenue growth through strategic sales planning and execution.

· Monitoring account performance and implementing improvement strategies.

· Preparing sales reports, forecasts, and key account performance insights.

· Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies.

The Person

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

· A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field (Master’s Degree is an added advantage).

· Professional certifications in sales, account management, or customer relationship management are an advantage.

· 7-10 years of experience in sales and key account management, with at least 3 years in a senior role.

· Experience in the telecommunications, IT, or FMCG sector is highly desirable.

· A proven track record in business development, client relationship management, and achieving sales targets.

· Ability to analyze market trends and develop data-driven strategies.
