The Council of Palabana University is inviting qualified and sufficiently motivated individuals to apply for the following positions in the University.
DEPARTMENT OF AQUACULTURE AND FISHERIES
Lecturers in the following areas:
1. Fish Population Dynamics and Stock Assessment (1 position)
2. Fish Breeding (1 position)
3. Fish Nutrition and Fish Feed Technology (1 position)
4. Aquaculture Production Systems (1 Position)
5. Biostatistics (I position)
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Full Grade 12 school certificate or its equivalent:
- Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field
- Master’s Degree in relevant field
- PhD Degree in a relevant field will be an added advantage
- At least two (2) years teaching or research experience at a College or University level or Research Institution:
- Must have proof of publications in peer reviewed journals
- Must be a member of a professional body; and
- Must be computer literate and possess a valid driver’s license
