Road Development Agency (RDA)
The Road Development Agency (RDA) is a statutory body whose function is to plan, manage and coordinate the road network in the country. The Agency is responsible for care, planning, maintenance and construction of public roads in Zambia. It also regulates the maximum permissible weights on roads, conducts studies for the development, maintenance and improvement of the road network, and reviews design standards and classification.The Agency wishes to fill up the following vacant positions:
MANAGER- ADMINISTRATION (1 POSITION) HEAD OFFICE
- Develop and administer relevant policies and procedures in the functional area;
- Ensure timely maintenance of buildings and surroundings in order to enhance a conducive working environment;
- Ensure the provision of efficient office administration services;
- Ensure effective provision of records management services in order to facilitate proper storage and easy retrieval of information;
- Ensure that an up to date inventory register of Agency assets is maintained;
- Co-ordinates the disposal of Agency assets as per approved policy;
- Ensures the provision of adequate security services at all Agency Sites; and
- Perform any other task as may be assigned to him/her by the Supervisor from time to time.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Full Grade 12 School Certificate;
- Bachelor’s Degree in any Social Science or Business Administration from a recognised University;
- Master’s degree in any Social Science or Business Administration from a recognised University will be an added advantage;
- Minimum five (5) years experience at a senior level in a reputable organisation;
- Membership to a professional body;
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills; and
- Computer literate.

- Ability to interact with fellow members of staff and external stakeholders at all levels;
- Must be innovative with good planning skills with emphasis on outcomes;
- Prudent, practical and effective change agent with the ability to drive consensus, while leading an efficiently run section; and
- Highly literate in Information Communication Technology (ICT).
