    Private Mining & Construction Company

    A PRIVATE MINING & CONSTRUCTION COMPANY IS LOOKING FOR THE FOLLOWING:

    1. Dozer
    2. Excavator
    3. ADT
    4. Grader Operators

    Based on a remote site in North Western Province, the various operators will be assigned to assist the Project Manager, carry out efficient continuous material handling and management throughout the project duration

     

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Operate assigned equipment safely and efficiently in accordance with company policies and manufacturer specifications
    • Carry out daily inspections and basic maintenance of equipment
    • Report any faults, damages, or safety concerns promptly
    • Conduct daily pre-start checks, basic maintenance and report any mechanical issues on the machine (excavator)
    • Adhere to workplace health, safety, and environment (HSE) standards and report hazards or incidents immediately
    • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and operational procedures
    • Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and maintenance
    • Work alongside surveyors, site engineers, and other plant operators to maintain project timelines
    • Maintain a clean and organized work area
    • Must be willing to work in shifts, including weekends if necessary

    • Physically fit to handle the demands of the job.
    • Problem-solving skills and ability to make quick decisions.
    • Good team player and able to coordinate work with minimum supervision.

    WORKING ENVIRONMENT

    Job holder will be stationed at project site or any assigned site

    JOB REQUIREMENTS

    Grade 12 Certificate

    Valid Operating Certificate/License

    Familiarity with mining workplace safety protocols and procedures

    Knowledge of basic heavy machinery maintenance and troubleshooting
