In line with continuing our tremendous success and unparalleled growth, we are looking to hire qualified and ambitious individuals as interns to learn the sales process by spending time both inside and outside sales with a continuous focus on customer service excellence. The role of the intern provides the tools, assets and resources to the sales team in order to improve efficiency and success. The Sales Intern will leave this position with invaluable skills, experience and industry knowledge, with a goal of becoming a technical sales person.





  • Working closely with Sales team and completing all allocated tasks.
  • Work to improve workflows, remove roadblocks and promote efficiencies in the sales process
  • Research and generate lists of potential customers and help develop customer relationships and retain existing accounts
  • Updating documents and sales records
  • Learn about the sales process and develop your skills with the help of our Sales team
  • Learn the company’s product offering and attend trainings, to help deal with customer queries and enquiries
  • Learn about customer service and operationalize a Customer Service Desk to deal with customer complaints
  • Assist in promoting the Chemsol brand and that of its principals
  • Identifying potential weaknesses and offering improvement suggestions.
  • Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports through weekly/monthly reports and work plans.
  • Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products and new products.
  • Assist in the servicing of existing clients by preparing accurate quotations from enquiries provided by Technical Sales Reps using predefined models
  • Establishes new clients by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on potential clients in liaison with Technical Sales Reps.
  • Any other duties as assigned by your supervisors


  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, Biology Microbiology or equivalent.
  • No experience is required, 6+ months of sales experience is preferred.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft products with specific emphasis on excel


  • High achievement orientation; driven to perform and grow.
  • Strong consultation, negotiation, problem-resolution, and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to understand new product lines and utilize knowledge to fulfill customer needs.
