    Transport Economist / Mid-Term Review and Update the National Transport Policy

     

    Description

    University degree in Transport Economics or equivalent recognized professional qualifications in economics gained over a period of at least 10 years professional experience as transport sector economist. A master’s degree will be considered an added advantage.

    Working experience of at least 5 years in Sub-Saharan Africa or other developing countries with sound knowledge of transport management and finance (including urban transport and mobility, rural transport), cross-cutting issues, regional integration / inter connectivity (transit transport improvement), transport policies and strategies, sector governance and regulatory frameworks.

    Proficiency in spoken and written English and writing of concise and clear reports.
